Thank You For Sharing In My Special Day.

Bringing Shoreline

Photo 1: To access our camp number two, there are two kilometers of trail and several bridges span creeks and marshes. It, Crocodile Dundee was known as "the Bridge on the River Kwai."

Photo 2: This picture does not tell you might not expect much but I tell you the story. Me, anyway, I was impressed!

Photo 3: The only day he did some beautiful, it was Monday, September 27 in the afternoon. We took the opportunity to go walking in the forest. This is another cute little bridge, hidden under leaves, built without subsidies or tender and brown envelope!

Bringing Shoreline

the first day of our vacation last Friday, September 24, he first had to go to camp with the bike and our luggage minimized. Too happy to leave, despite the deluge announced a weather warning, we were confident of going there without any problem, especially since Crocodile Dundee had secured some problematic passages in the previous weekend.

Gisele and I decided to walk the trail in front of or behind all-terrain vehicles could be seen squirming in this swampy soup, these bits of soggy trails, drowned by the deluge, which promised to be a lot more livable than embarking on the back of the iron horses driven by guys.

At the first bridge, it took place the plank that floated but were not yet gone into the creek became almost river, so it was swollen by the incessant rain since yesterday.

the second bridge is the photo I took two to return, and not to go, we thought we would have to tack and go to sleep at Camp No. 1, so the obstacle we seemed insurmountable: one of the two spans was a party to the fleet, there remained only one that still clung desperately (!) in submerged shrubs ...

is at this point that Crocodile Dundee has served us again logically and his famous fad, "By dint of lacking toutttt, we lack nothing." Giselle, Robert and me, we do not really see how he would do to build a bridge that would be strong enough to cross the bike on the other side of this "river" furious, so enlarged.

He had his plan. I do not understand his plan, but he, he knew where he went. He said he had cut down two large spruce trees and trimming of about the new width of the river and drop them over, on hand to adjust the exact distance between parallel wheels of ATVs. Yes, but it is round, a chopping block, how to move on it without risking the escape vehicle in the river?

laughing, Crocodile Dundee I offered to take me in his arms for me to cross to the other side if I was afraid ... His proposal was very romantic, and I almost accept it, but the problem was not there, I was thinking more ATVs and trailers attached and which caused me after these concerns ...

In his red box "licensee" behind his ATV, Crocodile Dundee is still bits of wire and spit, a hatchet, a hammer, knife, nails of all sizes, a crowbar, the pliers, chain saws, and lots of odds and ends of all sorts that are totally unknown to me ... and unnecessary. But not for him. It's like his toy box.

After shooting the two large spruce trees that had evaluated his eye carpenter he took his tape measure (he had it in his safe ?...) for spacing just enough to get the wheels, recovered the little bridge to the rest of the fleet, has taken down the planks in two time three movements, was fixed on the top of the logs, put some logs across to make the joints between the ends of beams that could not meet and work here, he had us build a temporary bridge to cross on other side, and people and ATVs with trailers attached. In addition, he did not even wet the bottom of panties!

I have no photo of it but it was impressive to see him at work so easily, I assure you. As expected, with the current deluge, there was no question of unpacking the stock securely packaged to make the trip nice and dry, and put his hand on my camera. So I took this picture in return, while the raging river had returned as a stream harmless but can imagine the width of the stream with the current in, which was slightly above the logs, seeing the remains of bridge built in minutes with the means at hand, but mostly enjoy Jarnigoine a hustler who was singing and laughing, never in trouble or in the woods or in life, but this time he did so under the very eyes of his girlfriend (me), her big sister (Giselle) and her redneck (Robert).

Suddenly, his hobby, "By dint of lacking toutttt, we lack nothing" is illustrated with force, without the need to explain it. But everyone can find meaning he prefers!
